// The Case File
Imagine a collectible card combat game with the strategic depth of a classic dungeon-crawling card system and the completely unhinged satirical chaos of a mad cartoonist who got unsupervised access to a professional kitchen. That's Food Crimes.
Players build custom decks, summon culinary combatants, and deploy absurd food-based abilities in head-to-head tactical battles. Expect unexpected synergies, gleefully broken combos, and cards that make you laugh before they make you lose.
We're deep in prototype development — tuning mechanics, building out the card universe, and getting ready for our first public playtest at KublaCon Protospiel 2026. No store yet. Just pure, chaotic, delicious game-making energy.
// Case Files
After months of kitchen chaos and late-night card design sessions, we've officially opened our doors to the internet. Welcome to Food Crimes Games — home of the most gloriously unhinged collectible card combat game being built on the West Coast. We'll be posting regular updates here: mechanic breakdowns, card previews, con appearances, playtesting reports, and probably some truly regrettable food photography. Buckle up. It's going to get weird.

More details →The fundamental combat system is locked. We're now deep in iteration on card types, resource economy, and win conditions. Early finding: there are too many ways to lose involving condiments. This is fine. This is intended.
